R 1406 328 r"'. ~ RESOLUTION NO. 1406 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLISHING A "NO TRUCK PARKING" ZONE ON CERTAIN AREAS OF VALLEY ROAD. WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to prohibit truck parking on a portion of Valley Road, as specifically described below; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande, as follows: That a "No Truck Parking" zone be established on those areas of Valtey Road within the City Limits presently improved with curb and gutter and southerly of the County island. IITruck" I being defined as any commercial vehicle with a gross weight of 10,000 pounds or any commerciat traiter or semi trailer with an ()vera 1 t tength of 20 feet or more. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Pol ice of the City of Arroyo Grande be, and he is hereby authorized to provide and install sufficient signs and/or markings to indicate said no truck parking zone. On motion of Council Member Gallagher, seconded by Council Member Smith and on the following roll call vote, to wit: AYES: Council Members Pope, Gallagher, de Leon, Smith and Mayor Miltis NOES: None ABSENT: None the foregoing Resolution was passed and~~~980.
