A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY'OF
ARROYO GRANDE ADOPTING THE AMENDED LAND'USE
ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande has
prepared a general plan report together with a general plan map 'and has
adopted the amended Land.Use Element of the General Plan; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 6S501, et. seq., the
City Counc 11 gave requ I red not' ce and d' d hold a pub 11 c hear I no, 'COMDenc I ng
on January 8, 1980, for the purpose of.conslderlng the adoption of the
amended Land Use Element of the General Plan report and map, and at which
public hearing the amended Land Use Element report and map wer.~dlsplayed,
explained and reported upon; and
WHEREAS, said amended. Land Use Element of the General Plan report :
and map thereof are necessary for sound future connun I ty development, the
preservation of community values, and the prOllOtlonof generalbea1th, safety, I

convenience and welfare of the citizens of the City of Arroyo Grancle; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande h,sa respon-
slblJlty to plan for the desirable future growth and develo...,,~:ofthe City

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY'OF.ARROYO:GRAHOE DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section I. 'r.he City Counc 11 of theC I ty of' Arroyo' Grande does hereby
find and determine that the public interest, convenience andnecelslty require
that the amended Land Use Element of the General Plan report and titap be adopted
In the manner set forth In Exhibit "A" which Is attached heretQand Incorporated
herein. . . ,.
Section 2. The City Counc II of the City of Arroyo Grande does hereby
adopt the said amended Land Use Element of the General Plan together with the
maps and descriptive material.
