RESOLUTION NO, 1368
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE ESTABLISHING "NO PARKING" ZONES ON A PORTION OF
THE SOUTH SIDE OF GRAND AVENUE.
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to prohibit parking on a portion
of Grand Avenue, as specifically described below;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande, as follows:
That a "NO PARKING" zone be established on the southerly side of
Grand Avenue, beginning approximately One Thousand Eighty Feet
(1080') east of the easterly right of way line of Elm Street and
extending to a point approximately One Thousand Three Hundred and
Fifty Five Feet (1355') east of the easterly right of way of Elm
St reet.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of Arroyo Grande
be and he is hereby authorized to provide and install sufficient signs and/or
markings to indicate said "NO PARKING" zone.
On motion of Council Member de Leon, seconded by Council Member Gallagher and
on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Pope, Gallagher, de Leon, Smith and Mayor Millis
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 10th day of July, 1979.
