RESOLUTION NO. 1326
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE ESTABLISHING A POLICY FOR THE COMPLETION OF
BUILDINGS BEFORE COMPLETION OF ALL SUBDIVISION
IMPROVEMENTS.
WHEREAS, questions have been raised regarding the occupancy of buildings
in subdivisions prior to completion and acceptance of subdivision improvements;
and
WHEREAS, property owners have from time to time constructed residential
dwellings in subdivisions prior to the completion and acceptance by the City of
Arroyo Grande of all subdivision improvements;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved as follows:
1. That. upon a determination by the D1rector of Public Works of the
City of Arroyo Grande, that there will be adequate fire protection and other
improvements deemed necessary (e.g. drainage, dust control, etc.) a building
permit may be issued.
2. The City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande hereby establishes
as a policy that It will not allow occupancy of any building until all the
improvements of the subdivider have been completed and accepted.
