RESOLUTI ON ~O. 1312
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE AUTHORIZING THE DEPOSIT OF CITY FUNDS IN THE LOCAL
AGENCY INVESTMENT FUND PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE
SECTION 16429.1
WHEREAS, all California cities, including the City of Arroyo Grande, are
authorized under Government Code Section 16429.1 to deposit surplus money In the
Local Agency Investment Fund in the California State Treasury;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande as follows:
1. That the Arroyo Grande City Finance Director is hereby authorized to
enter into an agreement to deposit or withdraw money in the Local Agency Invest-
ment Fund in the CalIfornia State Treasury in accordance with the provisions of
Government Code Section 16429.1 of any money In the Arroyo Grande City Treasury
not required for said City's Immediate needs.
2. That OAVID E. BACON, City Finance Director, THOMAS M. BUTCH, City
Administrator, or ORVILLE SCHULTZ, City Treasurer, are hereby authorized to
order the deposit or withdrawal of the City of Arroyo Grande money in the Local
Agency Investment Fund on behalf of the City of Arroyo Grande, P. O. Box 550,
Arroyo Grande, California, 93420.
On motion of Councilman Spierllng, seconded by Councilman Gallagher and
on the following roll call vote, tq wit:
AYES: Councilmen Spierllng, Gallagher, Millis and Mayor de Leon
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Schlegel
the foregoing ResolutIon was passed and adopted this 10th day of January, 1978.
