RESOLUTION NO. 1293
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE APPROVING THE COUNTY-WIDE SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT PLAN.
WHEREAS, the CIty of Arroyo Grande Is required, pursuant to Government
Code Section 66796, to adopt a Solid Waste Management Plan for the City, and
to designate an enforcement agency to carry out the provisions of the Solid
Waste Control Act of 1976; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Health (Olvlslon of Environmental Health)
of the County of San Luis Obispo possesses the required capabilities In environ-
mental health and solid waste management to implement the requirements of said
act, and has heretofore, per Resolution No. 1285, been designated as the enforce-
ment agency for the City of Arroyo Grande of said Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande, as follows:
That the document entitled "COUNTY-WIDE SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT PLAN"
for the County of San Luis Obispo, dated January, 1977, a copy of which Is on
file with the City Clerk, be and Is hereby adopted as the Solid Waste Management
Plan for the City of Arroyo Grande.
On motion of Councilman Splerllng, seconded by Councilman Gallagher and
on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Spierllng, Gallagher, Schlegel, MIllis and Mayor de Leon
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 28th day of June, 1977.
