RESGLUTION.NG. 1291
A RES0LUTION GF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE NAMING AN AREA IN THE BASEBALL C0MPLEX AS
"WANDA CAMPBELL FIELD"
WHEREAS, It has been established by Reselutlon No. 735 that the Parks and
Recreation Commlsslan will recommend names for City Parks to the City Council for
Its approval and adoption; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Commission has considered names to be
used for Identification of certain park areas In the City of Arroyo Grande and
has recommended that the girls' sQftbal1 field in the easterly portion of the
City's Baseball Cemplex on Ash Street at Elm Street be named "WANDA CAMPBELL
FIELD" and be approved and adopted by the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, T~E CITY C0UNCIL GF TH'E CITY OF ARRGYG GRANDE DeES
HEREBY RESGLVE AS FOLLOWS:

That the girls' seftball fle.ld in the baseball complex, located on Ash
Street, Is hereby offlctally named "WANDA CAMPBELL FIELD", ta honar the
participation and dedication of Mrs. Campbell to the yauth softball activities
In this area.
On motion of Councilman Gallagher, seconded by C0uncllman Splerllng
on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Splerling, Gallagher, Schlegel, Millis and Mayor de Leon
NGES: None
ABSENT: None
the faregolng Resolution was passed and adopted this 14th day of June, 1977.
