A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
G~N9E REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. ~AN9 ADOPTING A
HOL 1 DAY SCHEDULE Fa1\ THE EMPLOYE S OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE BY AMENDING SECTION 7, RULE X OF RESOLUTION NO. 606.
WHEREAS, the City Council Is authorized and directed under provisions of
Section 2-3.02 of the MunIcIpal Code to adopt revisions and amendments to the
Personne I System Ru les and Regulat Ions of the City of ArrlllYo Grande as adopted
~y Resolutlen NG. 606;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Resolution No. 1197 Is hereby repealed
In Its entirety.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City CllluncJI IIIf the City of Arroyo Grande
that Sectlllln 7, Rule X, IIIf Resllllutlon No. 606 Is hereby amended as follows:
SECTION 7. Holidays: Municipal IIIfflces shall be cllllsed on the following
legal hllllldays:
a. every Sunday
b. January 1st
c. February 12th, known as "Lincoln's Day"
d. third Monday in February (Washington's Birthday observed)
e. the last Monday In May (Memorial Day)

g. first Monday In September (Labor Day)
h. September 'th, known as "Admission Day"
I. the seclllnd Mlllnday I n October, known as "Co I umbus Bay"
J. Nlllvember 11th, known as "Veteran's Bay"
