A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE INSTRUCTING THE SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS TO
ORDER THE CONSTRUCTION OF CONCRETE CURBS, GUTTERS,
AND DRIVEWAY APRONS AND IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE PROPER
FUNCTIONING OF THE INSTALLED CURBS, GUTTERS AND
DRIVEWAV APRONS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande has determined
that the Installation of curbs, gutters and driveway aprons,on the north side
of THE PIKE bet~en South Elm Street and the westerly City Limits, will be In
the Interest of said City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITV COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE, AS FOLLOWS:
r That the Superintendent of Streets be ordered to direct tHe installation
of curbs, gutters and driveway aprons, pursuant to Streets & Highways Section
5875. et aI, and Instructs said officer to notify the owners or persons In
possession of the properties fronting on those portions of The Pike as listed
above, in which no concrete curbs, gutters or driveway aprons have been
constructed theretofore, to construct, or cause to be constructed, concrete
curbs, gutters and driveway aprons In front of saId property, and the Improve-
ments for the proper functioning of the Installed curbs, gutters and driveway
aprons.
On motion of Councilman Gallagher, seconded by Councilman Millis and on
the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Gallagher, Schlegel, Millis and Mayor de Leon
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Spierling
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted s 26th day of April, 1977.
