RESOLUTION NO.3 3 3 9
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE PROVIDING THE DIRECTOR OF
PUBLIC WORKS WITH BLANKET AUTHORIZATION TO
EXECUTE RIGHT-OF-WAY CERTIFICATIONS.
WHEREAS, the City is eligible to receive Federal-Aid funds for capital improvement
projects; and,
WHEREAS, capital improvement projects which are funded with Federal-Aid funds or
which encroach within the State right-of-way require right-of-way certification prior to
releasing funds for the project for an encroachment permit; and,
WHEREAS, ,the State requires right-ot-way certification prior to using funds for the project
or approving an encroachment permit or releasing Federal funds; and,
WHEREAS, a blanket authorization for right-of-way certification will allow the Director of
Public Works to execute a certification without having to obtain authorization from the City
Council for each and every project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City ot Arroyo Grande
does hereby appoint the Director of Public Works as the official representative authorized
to execute all right-of-way certification forms.
