RESOLUTlQN NO. 1256
A RESOLUTIQN QF THE CITY CQUNCIL OF THE CITY GF ARROVO
GRANDE NAMING A PARK AREA IN THE RANCHO LA BARRANCA

SUBDIVISION AS "LA BARRANCA PARK".
WHEREAS, It has been established by Resolution No. 735 th.t the P.rks
and Recre.tlon CommIssion of the City 'of Arroyo Gr.nde will recommend names for
City Parks to the City Council for Its approval and adoption; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Commission h.s considered names to be
used for Identification of certaIn p.rk are.s In the City of Arroyo Gr.nde and
has recommended that the park area In the R.ncho La 8erranca SubdivIsion,
loc.ted on the northerly side of Tally Ho Road and westerly of James Way, be
named "La Barranca Park".
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL QF THE CITY SF ARROVO GRANDE DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FQLLQWS:
That the park area In the Rancho La Barranc. Subdivision Is hereby
offlclal1y named "La Barranca Park", as recommended by the P.rks .nd Recreation
Commission.
On motion of Councilman Schlegel, seconded by Councilman KIIIls and
on the followIng roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Splerllng, Gallagher, Schlegel, Klllls and Kayor de Leon
NQES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoln~ Resolution was passed and adopted this 12th day of October, 1976.
