RESO LUT I ON NO. 1247
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE ELIMINATING AN EXISTING BUS LOADING ZONE ON
ORCHARO STREET.
WHEREAS, It no longer appears necessary or desirable to have a bus
loading zone on Cherry Avenue at Orchard Street School; and
WHEREAS, the Lucia Mar Unified Scheol Olstrlct has requested the
abandonment of the aforementioned bus loading zone;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande, as follows:
That the bus loading zone on the south side of Cherry Avenue,
between Orchard Street and CalifornIa Street, be ellmlneted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of Arroyo
Grande be, and he Is herewith ordered to remove any signs and/or markings
Indicating the aforementioned bus loading zone, which Is being eliminated.
On motion of Councilman Gallagher, seconded by Councilman MIllis and on
the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Gallagher, Schlegel, Millis and Mayor de Leon
NOES: None
ABSENT: 'Counci Iman Splerl ing
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 24th day of August, 1976.
