RESOLUTI ON NO. 1242
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE INSTRUCTING THE SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS TO
ORDER THE CONSTRUCTION OF CONCRETE CURBS, GUTTERS,
DRIVEWAY APRONS AND SIDEWALKS, AND IMPROVEMENTS FOR
THE PROPER FUNCTIONING OF THE INSTALLED CURBS, GUTTERS,
DRIVEWAY APRONS AND SIDEWALKS.
WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Streets of the City of Arroyo Grande has
reported to the City Council that a petition signed by property owners of more
than sixty per cent (60%) of front footage on the east and west sides of Del
Sol Street have requested the installation of curbs, gutters, driveway aprons
and sidewalks in front of said properties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE, AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Council hereby finds, in accordance with the report of
said Superintendent of Streets, and instructs said officer to notify the owners
or persons in possession of the properties fronting on those portions of Del
Sol Street, as listed above, in which no concrete curbs, gutters, driveway
aprons or sidewalks have been constructed theretofore, to construct, or cause
to be constructed, concrete curbs, gutters, driveway aprons and sidwalks in
front of his said property, and the improvements for the proper functioning
of the installed curbs, gutters, driveway aprons and sidewalks.
On motion of Councilman Spierling, seconded by Councilman Schlegel and
on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Spierling, Gallagher, Schlegel, Millis and Mayor de Leon
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 10th day of August, 1976.
