RESOLUTI ON NO. 1227
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
~RANDE ESTABLISHING BOULEVARD STOP SIGNS ON BRANCH
STREET ALLEY AT SHORT AND BRIDGE STREETS.
WHEREAS, It appears necessary and desirable to establish boulevard stop
signs on the Branch Street Alley at Short and Bridge Streets, as more particularly
described below;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEO BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE, AS FOLLOWS:
That a stop sign be placed on the northeast corner of the Intersection of
the Alley and Bridge Street so as to stop traffic before entering Bridge Street:
. That a stop sign be p I aced at the southwest corner of the Alley and Short
Street so as to stop traffic before entering Short Street; and
That a stop sign be placed at the northeast corner of the Civic Center
Parking Lot driveway and Short Street so as to stop traffic before entering
Short Street.
BE IT FURTHER RES6LVED that the Chief of Police of the City af Arroyo Grande
be, and he is hereby authorized to provide and Install sufficient signs and/or
markings to Indicate said stop signs.
On motion af Councilman Spierling, seconded by Councilman MIllis and on the
following roll call vote, to wft: .- -
AYES: Councilmen SpierJing, Gallagher, Schlegel, Millis and Mayar de Leon
NOES: None
ABSENT: Nane
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adapted this 22nd day of June, 1976.
