A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY C0UNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANBE ADOPTING AN AMENDMENT TO THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF
THE GENERAL PLAN FOR THE LAWLER PROPERTY TO LOW DENSITY USE.
I WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande ha~. at the
request of the Arroyo Grande City Council considered amendment of the General Plan
for the hereinafter described property within the City of Arroyo Grande; and
WHEREAS, said Planning Commission has, following public hearing, reported
to the City Council Its recommendation f(1lr the land use of said property: and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 65501, et seq. the City
Council gave required notice and did hold a public hearing on April 13. 1976 for
the purposes of conslderln!!l the adoption of the amended Land Use Element of the
General Plan report and map, and at which public hearing the amended Land Use
Element report and map were displayed, explained and reported upon: and
WHEREAS, said amended Land Use Element of the General Plall report a"cd map
thereof are necessary for sound future commun i ty development ..'the, pl'.sel'~t4m- /i)f
community values, and the promotlo~ of the general health,safetv, convenience
and welfare of the citizens of the City of Arroyo Grande: and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande has a responsibilIty
to plan for the desirable future growth and development of the City of Arroyo Grande:
NOW. THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GP.AHDEOGfS HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECT I ON 1. The City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande does herehy find
and determine that the public interest, convenience and necessity require that the
Arroyo Grande City General Plan be amended to provide for low density Jand use for
the hereinafter described property.

SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande hereby adopts the
amended Land Use Element of the General Plan together with the maps and descriptive
material to provIde for said low density. Said property is described as follows:
All that land lying in the division of Lot 91, Rancho Corral de lIiedra,
Pis11lO and Bolsa de Chemisal as recorded in Book A of Maps at Page 6S
records of the County of San Luis Obispo more particularly described
as follows:
A strip of land lying adjacent to and northerly of the State Highway
Right of Way shown on Parcel Maps AG-72-333 and AG-72-334 recorded in
Book 9, of parcel maps at Pages 9S and 96 in said county described as
follows :
Beginning at a 6" x 6" concrete monument on the most easterly corner
of Parcel No. 3 shown on said Page 95 in said Book 9; thence along
the easterly boundary of said Parcel No.3, South 33016'40. West,
9G.28 feet to a point on the highway right of way; thence, northerly
along said right of way to the most westerly corner of Parcel No. 3
shown on said Page 96 of said Book 9; thence North 65001' 30. East
30.93 feet along the northwesterly bounciary of said Parcel 3 to the
most northerly corner of said Parcel 3, said corner being on the
centerline of a road easement described in Book 826 Page 337 of
said county; thence southerly along said centerline, said centerline
being the boundary of Parcel 3 and Parcel 2 and Parcel 4 of parcel map
filed in said Book 9 at Page 96, to a point lying on the southerly
boundary of a parcel described in Book 991, Page 4S9 of official
records in said county; thence 166.08 feet more or less along the
northerly boundary of a parcel described in Book 719 Page 392 of
official records to the most westerly corner of Parcel 2 shown in
Book 9 Page 95 of parcel maps; thence 74.01 feet southeasterly along
said boundary to a point; thence South 37016'30" West 7.26 feet to
the most northerly corner of Parcel 3 of said map; thence southerly
along the cOl!llllon boundary of Parcel 2 and 3 shown on said map to the
point of beginning.
