RESOLUTI ON NO. 1208
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE DESIGNATING PERSONS TO PERFORM VARIOUS DUTIES
FOR PROCEEDINGS IN A SPECIAL ASSESSMENT DISTRICT.
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 74-1

WHEREAS, this City Council Is, at this time, considering the fonaatlon of
a special assessment district pursuant to the terms and provisions of the
"Municipal Improvement Act of 1913", being Division 12 of the Streets and Highways
Code of the State of California for the construction of certain public \IIIOrksof
Improvements within said City In a special assessment district known and designated
as:
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 74-1

(hereinafter referred to as the "Assessment District"); and,
WHEREAS, at this time, this City Counci I Is desirous of makl:ng the required
appointments and designations necessary In order to al1ew said proceecllngs to be
carried throug~ to completion.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANOf, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That t'he above recitals are al1 true and correct.
SECTION 2. J. E. ANDERSON, JR., Is hereby appointed to perform all of the
duties and functions of the Superintendent of Streets as said duties are specified
and designated In the "Municipal Improvement Act of 1913", being Division 12 of
the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California for the above-referenced
Assessment District.
SECTION 3. That the place for recordation of the assessment roll and
diagram shall be In the Office of the Superintendent of Streets and said assessment
ro 11 and diagram sha II be kept as a permanent record of the City.
SECTION 4. That F. MACKENZIE BROWN, attorney at law, Is hereby appointed
to tlct as bond counsel for said proceedings for the preparation of an necessary
resolutions, notices, Issuance of bond opinion and other legal work In connection
with said assessment district as said duties and terms and conditions .re set
forth In an Agreement entitled SPECIAL COUNSEL AGREEMENT, a cCilpy of which Is on
file In the Office of the City Clerk and said Agreement 15 hereby approved and
execution Is authorized by the Mayer and City Clerk.
SECTION 5. That the FIVE CITIES TIMES-PRESS-RECORDER Is hereby designated I
as the newspaper for these proceedings and Is to be the newspaper for all legal I
publications lIS required by law and as necessary for the completion of this I
assessment district. ,
