RESOLUTION NO. 1207
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE INSTRUCTING THE SUPERINTENOENT OF STREETS TO
OROER THE CONSTRUCTION OF CONCRETE SIDEWALKS, AND IMPROVE-
MENTS FOR THE PROPER FUNCTIONING OF THE iNSTALLED
SIDEWALKS. (STREETS & HiGHWAYS SECTION 5870, ET SEQ.)
WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Streets of the City of Arroyo Grande has
reported to the City Council that more than fifty percent (50%) of concrete
sidewalks are Installed on the following blocks:
East s I de of South Ha lcyon Road - Grand Avenue to Park Way
and
East side of South Halcyon Road - Dodson Way to Fair Oaks Avenue
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANOE, AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Council hereby finds, in accordance with the report of said
Superintendent of Streets, and instructs said officer to notify the owners or
persons in possession of the properties fronting on those portions of South
Ha lcyon Road, as "sted above, in wh i ch no concrete s i dewa I ks have been con-
structed heretofore, to construct, or cause to be constructed, concrete side-
walks in front of his said property, and the Improvements for the proper
functioning of the installed sidewalks.
On motion of Councilman Splerling, seconded by Councilman Schlegel and
on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Splerling, Gallagher,Jr., Schlegel, Millis and Mayor de Leon
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
