RESOLUTION NOo 1200
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE CONCERNING ELECTiON CANVASS AT A CENTRAL PLACE
(ELECTION CODE SECTiON 17050)0
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Arroyo Grande as follows:
WHEREAS~ pursuant to Election Code Section 17050, et seq.~ the City of
Arroyo Grande will count ail ballots at a central place for the March 2~ 1976
general municipal election.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Arroyo Grande City Council as
fo 11 ows :
1. That the recital set forth hereinabove is true, correct and valid;
2, That the central ballot counting place for the City of Arroyo Grande
Municipal Election of March 2~ 1976 shall be at the San-Luis Obispo County Data
Processing Center in the Courthouse, San Luis Obispo, California;
3. For the purpose of such ballot counting said Data Processing Center~
pursuant to Election Code Section 17060, shall be and hereby is designated as
a public place.
On motion of Councilman Spierling, seconded by Councilman de Leon and on
the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Spierling, de Leon~ Schlegel~ Millis and Mayor Talley
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 2nd day of February, 1976.
