RESOLUTION NO. 1192
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY
OF SAN LUIS OBISPO TO PERMIT THE COUNTY CLERK OF SAID
COUNTY TO RENDER SPECIFIED SERVICES TO THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE RELATING TO THE CONDUCT OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL
ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SAID CITY ON MARCH 2, 1976.
WHEREAS, a General Municipal Election Is to be held In the City of Arroyo
Grande on March 2, 1976; and
WHEREAS, in the course of conduct of said election and in relation thereto
it wi)l be necessary to mail sample ballots and polling place Inserts to the
registered voters of the City, and It will facilitate such mailing If the County
Clerk of the County of San Luis Obispo will prepare and furnish the City the
Imprinting of the names and addresses of the registered voters of said City on
polling place inserts furnished by the City; and
WHEREAS, all necessary expense In performing this service shall be paid
by the City of Arroyo Grande;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande does hereby
RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows:
SECT! ON 1: That pursuant to the provisions of Section 22003 of the Elections
Code of the State of California, this City Council hereby requests the Board of
Supervisors of said County to permit the County Clerk to prepare and furnish to said
City, for use in conducting said election to be held on March 2, 1976, the Imprinting
of the names and addresses of the registered voters of said City on polling place
inserts furnished by the City.
SECTiON 2: That said City shall reimburse said County for services
performed when the work is completed and upon presentation to the City of a
proper1y approved bill.
SECT! ON 3: That the City Clerk Is hereby directed to forward without delay
to said Board of Supervisors and to said County Clerk, each a certified copy of this
resolution.
On motion of Councilman Schlegel, seconded by Councilman Splerling and on
the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Splerl lng, de Leon, Schlegel, Mill is and Mayor Talley
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 9th day of December, 1975.
