RESOLUTION NO. 1169
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE ESTABLISHING "NO PARRING" ZONES ON WEST BRANCH STREET.
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to prohibit parking on a
portion of West Branch Street, as specifically described below;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande, as follows:
That two (2) parking spaces be permitted and designated on the
easterly side of West Branch Street between Grand Avenue and
the Certified Freight Trucking Company driveway; and
That parking be prohibited on the northerly curved portion of the
the road between the Trucking Company driveway and the residences,
more fully described as follows:
Beginning at a point which is one hundred and fifty feet (150')
northerly of the intersection of the east line of West Branch Street
and Grand Avenue and continuing northwesterly therefrom an additional
fifty feet (50'); also,
Beginning at a point which is one hundred feet (100') northerly of the
intersection of the west line of West Branch Street and Grand Avenue
and continuing northwesterly and westerly along the southerly side of
West Branch Street to the intersection of the southerly line of said
West Branch Street with the westerly line of Vernon Street,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of ~olice of the City of Arroyo
Grande be, and he is herewith ordered to install all necessary signs and/or
markings along said portion of West Branch Street to indicate the parking
restrictions as set forth above.
On motion of Councilman de Leon, seconded by Councilman Spier ling and
on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Spierling, de Leon, .Schlegel, Millis and Mayer Talley
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
