RESOLUTION NO. 1157
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE ESTABLISHING A "NO PARKING" ZONE ON THE SOUTH
SIDE OF GRAND AVENUE.
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to prohibit parking on a
portion of Grand Avenue, near 611 and 617 Grand Avenue, as specifically
described below;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Arroyo Grande, as follows:
That a "No Parking" red zone be established on the southerly side
of Grand Avenue, beginning at a point that is located one huddTed
fifty-six feet (156') easterly of the east curb line of Alpine
Street, thence extending westerly tKirty-five feet (3~'),
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of Arroyo
Grande be, and he is herewith ordered to install all necessary signs and/or
markings along said portion of Grand Avenue to indicate the "No Parking" zone
as set forth above.
On motion of Councilman de Leon, seconded by Councilman Spierling and on
the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Spierling, de Leon, Millis and Mayor Talley
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Schlegel
the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted this 22nd day of April, 1975,
