RESOWTION NO. 1155
A RESOt:iITION OF TIlE CITY COlil'lCIL OF TIlE CITY OF ;\!tROm
GRANDE ORDERING THE ABANDONMENT OF A PORTION OF A SEWER
EASEMENT (GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 50,~.30 ET SEQ.)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande has elected to
proceed under provisions of Government Code Section 50430, et seq., and in
accordance with the provisions thereof, by resolution, the Arroyo Grande
City Council set the time and place for public hearing of protests for the
vacation of said sewer easement at 8:00 P,M., April 22, 1975, in the Arroyo
Grande City Council Chambers; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande did
consider and approve said abandonment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has found, on the basis of evidence produced
at the public hearing, that the hereinafter described easement is unnecessary
for present or future se~er easement purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the hereinafter described Arroyo
Grande City sewer easement is vacated and it is so ordered.
In the City of Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis Obispo,
State of California, all that portion of that certain Deed
of Sewer rights of ways recorded in the County Recorder's
Office at Book 5 Page 497 of Official Records of the County
of San Luis Obispo more fully described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the westerly boundary of Lot 108 of
Ranchos Corral de Piedra, Pismo & Bolsa de Chemisal as shown
in Book A of MapS at Page 65, in the County Recorder's Office
of the County of San Luis Obispo which point of beginning is
North 3.7 f<6et from the southwest corner of said Lot lOB,
thence from said point of beginning North 420 32' East 756.4
feet to a manhole,
On motion of Councilman de Leon, seconded by Councilman Spier1ing and on
the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Spierling, de Leon, Millis and Mayor Talley
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Schlegel
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 22nd day of April, 1975.
