RESOLUTION NO, 1152
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE ADOPTING THE AMENDED LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE
GENERAL PLAN.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande has
prepared a general plan report together with a general plan map and has adopted
the amended Land Use Element of the General Plan; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to GC'.fernment Code Section 65501, et seq, the City
Council gave required notice and did hold a public hearing on March 11, 1975,
for the purpose of considering the adoption of the amended Land Use Element of
the General plan report and map, and at which public hearing the amended Land
Use Element report and map were displayed, explained and reported upon; and
WHEREAS, said amended Land Use Element of the General Plan report and
map thereof are necessary for sound future community development, the
preservation of cornmTIJd..ty valu.e3, and the promotion of the g.er.:.et'al health,
safety, convenience and w"Lfare of the citizens of the City of Arroyo Grande; i1,,,1
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grand" '"as a responsibUity
to plan for the desirable future growth and developm"l1t of c'^,e, City of Arroyo,
Grande;
NOW, THEREFORE, TIlE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1, The City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande does hereby
find and determine that the public interest, convenience and necEssity require
that the amended Land Use Element of the General Plan report and map be adopted.
Section 2. The City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande hereby adopts
the amended Land Use Element of the General Plan together with the maps and
descriptive material,
On motion of Councilman Schlegel, seconded by Councilman de Leon and on
\ the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen de Leon, Schlegel, Millis and Mayor Talley
NOES: Councilman Spier ling
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 25th day of March, 1975.
