RESOLUTION NO, 1148
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE ESTABLISHING A "NO PARKING" ZONE ON THE SOUTH SIDE
OF GRAND AVENUE BElWEEN ALDER AND ELM STREETS, AND ON SO,
HALCYON ROAD AT GRAND AVENUE,
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to prohibit parking on
portions of Grand Avenue and Halcyon Road, at the locations described below;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ,RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande, as follows:
1. That a "NO PARKING" zone be established on the south side of Grand
Avenue, beginning at a point on the south side of Grand Avenue that
is located 51,2 feet westerly of the northwest corner of Lot 8 of
the Folsom Tract according to the map thereof filed September 26,
1891 in Book B of Maps at Page 75 in the County Recorder's Office,
County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, and extending
69 feet easterly,
2, That a "NO PARKING" zone be established on the east side of Halcyon
Road, beginning ,at the southeast corner of Halcyon Road and Grand
Avenue, and continuing therefrom 85 feet southerly along the easterly
side of Halcyon Road.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Chief of Police of the City of Arroyo
Grande be, and he is herewith directed to install "No Parking" signs and/or
markings along said portions of Grand Avenue and Halcyon Road, to indicate the
prohibited parking areas as set forth above.
On motion of Councilman Spierling, seconded by Councilman de Leon and on
the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Spierling, de Leon, Schlegel, Millis and Mayor Talley
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 25th day of February, 1975,
