A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ,\RROYO
GRANDE MAKING FINDINGSON,PETUION AND WAIVEr AND MAKING
APPOINTMENTS'REGARDING DESIGNATED DUTIES, .
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO, 74-1
(STREET IMPROVEMENTS)
WHEREAS, certain property owners have presented to the City Council an
executed Petition requesting the construction of certain public works of ~prove-
ment together with appurtenances, said ~provements to be financed through bonds
to be issued pursuant to the terms and provisions of the "Improvement Act of
1911," being Division 7 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California in assessment district to be known and designated as follows:
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO, 74-1 (STREET IMPROVEMENTS)
WHEREAS, laid Petition contains a waiver of tha provilionl and l~itations
of the "Sp.cial Allellment Inv.ltigation, L~itation ,and Majority prot..t Act of
1931," AI provid.d for ill Section 2804 of laid ,Act; and

NOW, 'l'IIEIEFORE, THE CITY COUNCILOr 'l'IIE CITY or AUOYO GRANDI DOES HlUBY
RESOLVE AS rOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the above recitals are all true and correct,
SECTION 2. That the City Council finds that said Petition and Waiver has
been signed by all of the owners of more than sixty percent (60%) in area of the
property to be subject to assessment for the ~provement requested in said
Petition, and meets the requirements of Section 2804 of Division 4 of the Streets
and Highways:Code of the State of California.
SECTION 3. That said ,Petition and Waiver shall be filed in the Office of
the City Clerk of said City.
SECTION 4. That said District shall be known and entitled
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO, 74-1 (STREET IMPROVEMENTS)
SECTION 5. That said ~provements and proceedings shall be financed by
bonds pursuant to the "Improvement Act of 1911", being Division 7 of the Streets
and Highways Code with said proceedings pursuant to either the "Municipal
Improvement Act of 1913," being Division 12 of the Streets and Highways Code or
the "Improvement Act of 1911," being Division 7 of said Code,
On motion of Councilman Spierling, seconded by Councilman de Leon and on
the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Spierling, deLeon, Schlegel, Millis and Mayor Talley
NOES: None
ABSENT: ; None
the foregoing iesolution was passed and adopted this 14th day of January, 1975.
