RESOLUTION NO. 1135
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE C. '1 OF ARROYO
GRANDE REDUCING LIMITED PARKING ZONES IN ThE CE!\1TRAL
BUSINESS DISTRICT OF ARROYO GRANDE,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grand~ is, by Municipal
Code 'Section 4-3,06, permitted to establish limited parking on City streets; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did pass and adopt Resolution No, 1124 on
October 8, 1974, establishing limited parking zones in the Central Busine~s
District of Arroyo Grande and wishes to reduce said limited parking zon~s
established in said resolution, as more particularly described below;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE tT RESOLVED 1;>y the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande, as follows:
Except on Sundays and holidays, the operator of a vehicle shall
not park such vehicle for'a period of time longer than 120 minutes
(two hours) in the following described area between the hours of
9:00 A,M. and 6:00 P,M,:
Branch Street frdm Mason Street to a point two hundred ~nty
feet .(220') welterly of Bridge ,Street on the louth lide; and a
point two hundred dxty feet (260') westerly of Nevada Straet
on the north lide of Branch Street.
BB IT FURTHER RESOLVBD that except al provided herein, all limited parkins
zonel let forth in paragraph (a) of Relo1ution No. 1124 of the City Council of the
City of Arroyo Grande are hereby repealed.
BB IT FURTHER RESOLVBD that the Chief of Police of the Cit). of Al'royo
Grande be, and he is hereby authorized to provide and install sufficient signs
and/or markings to indicate that said ,areas have limited parking for two (2)
hours only.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution will be in full force and
effect December 1, 1974.
On motion of Councilman Spierling, seconded by Councilman Millis and on
the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Spierling, de Leon, Millis and Mayor Talley

the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 26th day of November, 1974,
