RESOWTION NO, 1125 -
A RESOWTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE ESTABLISHING A TWO-HOUR PARKING ZONE IN A
PORTION OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE "CAR CORRAL"
PARKING LOT,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande is, per Section
22519 of the State of California Vehicle Code, authorized to regulate the
parking of vehicles on City off-street parking facilities; and
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to limit parking in a portion
of the "Car Corral" on Branch Street, more particularly described below;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande, as follows:
That hereafter, two-hour (2-hour) limited parking is established on
all parking spaces within the following described area:
Beginning at a point which is 97,9 feet northeast of, the north-
easterly corner of Nevada Street and East Branch Street; thence
48.75 feet northeasterly along the northerly right of way of East
Branch Street; thence 74 feet northerly along the easterly property
line of the "Car Corral"; thence approximately 49 feet westerly to
the westerly property line of the "Car Corral"; thence 74 feet
southerly along the westerly property line of the "Car Corral" to
the point of beginning,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the chief of Police of the City of Arroyo
Grande be, and he is hereby authorized to provide and install sufficient signs
and/or markings to indicate that said area has limited parking for two (2) hours
only,
On motion of Councilman de Leon, seconded by Councilman Spier ling and on
the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Spierling, de Leon, Millis, and Mayor Talley
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Schlegel
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 8th day of October, 1974,
