RESOLUTION NO. 1124
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE ESTABLISHING LIMITED PARKING ZONES IN THE CENTRAL
BUSINESS DISTRICT OF ARROYO GRANDE,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande is, by Ordinance,
permitted to establish limited parking on City streets; and
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to limit parking on portions
of East Branch Street and Bridge Street as more particularly described below;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande, as follows:
Except on Sundays and holidays, the operator of a vehicle
shall not park such vehicle for a period of time longer than
120 minutes (two hours) on any of the following named streets
between the hours of 9:00 A.M, and 6:00 P,M.:
(a) Branch Street from Wesley Street easterly to Mason
Street; and
(b) Bridge Street from the Arroyo Grande Creek northerly
to Branch Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of Arroyo
Grande be, and he is hereby authorized to provide and install sufficient signs
and/or markings to indicate that said areas have limited parking for two (2)
hours only.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution will be in full force and
effect December 1, 1974.
On motion of Councilman Millis, seconded by Councilman de Leon and on the
following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Spierling, de Leon and Millis
NOES: Mayor Talley
ABSENT: Councilman Schlegel
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 8th day of October, 1974.
