RESOLUTION NO. 1114
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
INSTRUCTING THE SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS TO ORDER THE CON-
S TRUCTION OF CONCRETE CURBS, GUTTERS, DRIVEWAY APRONS AND
SIDEWALKS, AND IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE PROPER FUNCTIONING OF
THE INSTALLED CURBS, GUTTERS, DRIVEWAY APRONS AND SIDE'~ALI<S.
WHEREAS, the City Council, through its own initiative, can re~uest the
construction of concrete curbs, gutters, driveway aprons and sidewa1ks where
it fe eIs said improvements are necessary for the safety and welfare of the
peoplei
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 11' RESOLVED BY 'IRE CI'I"Y COUNCIL OF 'I'HE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Council hereby instructs the Superintendent of Streets to
notify the owners or peraons in pOIs.a.ion of the properties fronting on Grand
Avenue, between Barnett Street and the westerly City Limits, in which no concrete
curbs, gutters, driveway apron. or sidewalk, have been constructed heretofore,
to construct, or CAuse to be constructed, concrete curbs, gutters, driveway
apronl And lid.walk, in front of hi. laid property, and the tmprovementa for the
proper functioning of tbe installed curbs, gutter., driveway aprons and sidewalks.
On motion of Councilman de Loon, I.condad by Councilman Spierling and on
the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen SpierIina. de Leon, Millis and Mayor Talley
NOIS: Councilman Scblegel
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 13th day of August, 1974.
