RESOLUTION NO, 1111
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE AUTHORIZING ESTABLISHMENT OF A "NO PARKING ZONE"
ON A PORTION OF GRAND AVENUE.
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to prohibit parking on a
portion of Grand Avenue, near 601 Grand Avenue, as specifically described
below;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande, as follows:
That a "No Parking" ~one be established on the southerly side of
Grand Avenue, beginning at a point that is located three-hundred
fifteen '.feet': (315')' easterly of the east curb line of Alpine
Street, thence extending,westerly twenty feet (20'),
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of Arroyo
Grande be, and he is herewith ordered to install all necessary signs and/or
markings along said portion of Grand Avenue to indicate the "No Parking" zone
as set forth above,
On motion of Councilman Schlegel, seconded by Councilman Millis and on
the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Spierling, de Leon, Schlegel, Millis and Mayor Talley I
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 23rd day of July, 1974.
