A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE APPROVING PRIORITY PLAN FOR EXPENDITURE UNDER
PROVISIONS OF THE STATE BEACH, PARK, RECREATION, AND
HISTORICAL FACILITIES BOND ACT OF 1974,
WHEREAS, the State Beach, Park, Recreational, and Historical Facilities
Bond Act of 1974 requires that each county shall consult with all cities and
districts within the county which are authorized to provide park and recreation
services and develop and submit to the state a priority plan for expenditure of
the county's allocation; and
WHEREAS, the County of San Luis Obispo has consulted with the City of
..' Arroyo Grande which has prepared a priority plan for expenditure of the City's
allocation, said priority plan being attached hereto marked Exhibit "A";
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the priority plan for the
expenditure of the City's allocation of funds under the State Beach, Park,
Recreational, and Historical Facilities Bond Act of 1974, a copy of which plan
is attached hereto marked Exhibit "A", be and the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Arroyo Grande City Clerk is hereby
directed to forward a certified copy of the resolution to the County of San
Luis Obispo,
On motion of Councilman de Leon, seconded by Councilman SpierUng and
on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Spier ling, de Leon, Schlegel, Millis and Mayor Talley
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 23rd day of July, 1974.

EXHIBIT "A"
This exhibit. a part of Resolution No. 1110. is to the effect
that the Arroyo Grande Parks and Recreation Commission did consider and
approve. at its special meeting of July 22. 1974. the determination that
acquisition of lands for the easterly community park facility located on
Huasna Road was established as Priority No. 1 for the use of the "S ta te
Beach. Park. Recreation. and Historical Facilities Bond Act of 1974"
funds. This action was substantiated by the action of the Arroyo Grande
City Council in its adoption of this Resolution.
