R 1090 tESOLUTION NO. 1090 ---, A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE ADOPTING SENATE RESOLUTION 77 PASSED BY THE CALIFORNIA STATE SENATE ON FEBRUARY 6, 1974. WHEREAS, Senate Resolution 77 relates to an investigation by the Public Utilities Commission of the State of California concerning the inter- connection of miscellaneous customer provided devices to the facilities of telephone utilities; WHEREAS, the Senate has requested that in order that the public interest be served, the Public Utilities Commission of the State of California be provided full assuranCe that there will be no adverse effect on telephone rates applicable to the general public, particularly to low- income individuals and small businesses, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande, that the City Council agrees with the concern expressed by the California State Senate in Senate Resolution 77. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk forward a copy of this Resolution to the Public Utilities Commission of the State of California.
