RESOLUTION NO. 1089
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE ESTABLISHING PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON TRAFFIC WAY
AND A BUS LOADING ZONE ON POOLE,
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to establish certain parking
restrictions on portions of Traffic Way and a bus loading zone on Poole Street
at the locations described below;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande, as follows:
1. That a "NO PARKING" zone be established on the westerly side of Traffic
Way, said zone to begin at a point located a distance of fifty-five
feet (55') northerly of the westerly prolongation of the southerly
property line of Poole Street and to extend northerly a distance of
sixteen feet (16'),
2, That a "LIMITED PARKING" zone be established on the westerly side of
Traffic Way, said zone to begin at a point located northerly a
distance of twelve feet (12') from the westerly prolongation of the
southerly property line of Poole Street and to extend northerly a
distance of thirty-four feet (34'),
3, That a "PASSENGER LOADING" zone be established on the northerly side
of Poole Street, said zone to begin at a point located one hundred
and sixty feet (160') easterly of the easterly property line of
Bridge Street and extend easterly a distance of twenty-six feet (26')
said zone to be limited to "BUSSES ONLY Between the Hours of 8:30 A,M,
To 9:30 A,M, and 2:30 P,M, To 3:30 P,M., Monday through Friday",
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of Arroyo
Grande be, and he is herewith ordered to install all necessary signs along said
portions of Traffic Way and Poole Street to indicate the restricted areas as set
forth above.
On motion of Councilman Millis, seconded by Councilman Spier ling and on
the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Schlegel, Millis, Spierling, de Leon and Mayor Talley
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted this 26th day of March, 1974.
