RESOLUTION NO. 1065
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE ESTABLISHING A "SUNDAY ONLY" PARKING ZONE ON THE
EAST SIDE OF TRAFFIC WAY ADJACENT TO CHRISTMAS TREE
IS LAND.
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to establish certain parking
restrictions on a portion of Traffic Way at the location described below;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande, as follows:
A zone is established to permit parking on Sundays only on the
easterly side of Traffic Way, said zone to begin at a point
located thirty-five feet (35') southerly of the westerly
extension of the southerly property line of Nelson Street and
to extend southerly a distance of one hundred seventy-five feet
(175').
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of Arroyo
Grande be, and he is herewith ordered to install all necessary signs along
said portion of Traffic Way to indicate the restricted area as set forth
above.
On motion of Councilman Talley, seconded by Councilman de Leon and on
the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Talley, Millis, Wood, de Leon and Mayor Schlegel
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted this 25th day of September, 1973.
