RESOLUTION NO. 3547
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE DECLARING ITS INTEREST IN
OBTAINING 2002 TRANSPORTATION ENHANCEMENT
PROGRAM FUNDS FOR THE EAST BRANCH STREET
STREETSCAPEENHANCEMENTPROJECT
WHEREAS, the City Council of Arroyo Grande desires to seek 2002 Transportation
Enhancement (TE) funds made available through the San Luis Obispo Council of
Governments (SLOCOG); and
WHEREAS, SLOCOG requires all candidate project forms and the jurisdiction's
governing board endorsement be submitted to SLOCOG by September 5, 2001 .
WHEREAS, the City Council of Arroyo Grande is requesting that up to $440,000 of TE
funds be programmed for East Branch Street Streetscape Enhancement Project;
WHEREAS, the City Council of Arroyo Grande hereby appoints the Mayor as the official
representative authorized to sign the SLOCOG funding applications.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande does hereby request that $440,000 in TE funds be programmed for use by the
City of Arroyo Grande for street and pedestrian purposes.
On motion of Council Member Ferrara seconded by Council Member Lubin and on the
following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Ferrara, Lubin, Runels, Dickens, and Mayor Lady
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 14th day of August, 2001.
