RESOLUTION NO. 1042
A RESOWTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE ORDERING THE ABANDONMENT OF PORTIONS OF THE
CITY STREETS (STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE SECTION 8323).
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande has elected to
proceed under provisions of Streets and Highways Code Section 8321, et seq.,
and in accordance with the provisions thereof, by resolution, the Arroyo Grande
City Co~ncil set the time and place for public hearing of protests for the
vacation of said city street at 8:00 P.M., May 22, 1973, in the Arroyo Grande
City Council Chambers, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has found, on the basis of evidence produced
at the public hearing, that the hereinafter described public street is
unnecessary for present or future public street purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the hereinafter described Arroyo
Grande City Street be abandoned and it is so ordered.
In the City of Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis Obispo,
State of California, that fifteen foot (15') Alley and
that eighteen foot (18') Alley in Block 2 of Walnut Grove
Addition recorded March 7, 1908, in Book 1 at Page 104 of
Records of Survey, records of said county.
On motion of Councilman de Leon, seconded by Councilman Millis and on
the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES : Councilmen Millis, Wood, de Leon and Mayor Schlegel
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Talley
the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted this 22nd day of May, 1973.
