A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE DETERMINING THAT A PEDESTRIAN MALL SHALL BE
ESTABLISHED ALONG A PORTION OF SHORT STREET PURSUANT
TO STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE SECTION 11311.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande by Resolution No. 1018
established the time and plac,e for h'oa:dl1'; p:otests and objections to the establish-
ment of a proposed pedestrian mall, and
WHEREAS, said public heari,ng was held at 8:00 P.M. on the 13th day of
March, 1973, and there were no protests Dr objections to the establishment of a
pedestrian mall along a portion of Short Street as described in that Resolution,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE AS FOLLOWS:
1. Pursuant to Streets and High,,'ays Code Section 11311 the City Council
of the City of Arroyo Grande has determined ~.t'..at the pE!destrian mall shall be
established along the. property within th8 City of Arroyo Grande described as
follows:
Eight-seven (87) feet of Short Stroet lying One Hundred TWenty-three
(123) feet south of the south property line of Branch Street,
On motion of Councilman Millis, seconded by Councilman de Leon and on the
following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Millis, Talley, Wood, de Leon and Mayor Schlegel
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted this 13th day of March, 1973.

San Luis Obispo, State of California, do hereby certify that the foregoing
