RESOLUTION NO. l02L
A RESOLUTION OF TIlli CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE ORDERING THE ABANDONMENT OF PORTIONS OF THE CITY
STREETS (STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE SECTION 8323).
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande has elected to
proceed under provisions of Streets and Highways Code Section 8321, et seq" and
in accordance with the provisions thereof, by resolution, the Arroyo Grande City
Council set the time and place for public hearing of protests for the vacation
of said city street at 8:00 p.m., February 13, 1973, in the Arroyo Grande City
Council Chambers, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has found, on the basis of evidence produced
at the public hearing, that the hereinafter described public street is
unnecessary for present or future public street purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED ti~t the hereinafter described Arroyo
Grande City Street be abandoned and it is so ordered.
In the City of Arroyo Grande, County of SaIl Luis Obispo, State of
California, that the southerly fifty-five (55) feet of that parcel of property
deeded to the City of Arroyo Grande by Midland Counties Public Service
Corporation by deed recorded November 27th, 1929, in Volume 75 of Official
Records at Page 432, records of San Luis Obispo County, described as follows:
Commencing at a point on the Northwesterly line of the county
road, said point bearing N, 610 East 2 chains distant from Stake
No. 296, said stake being the most Easterly corner of lot No, 85
as laid down on Jas, T, Stratton's map of the Ranchos Corral de
Piedra, Pismo and Bolsa de Chemisal, a copy of which map is on
file in the Recorder's office of the County of San Luis Obispo,
and to which reference is hereby made. Running thence from said
point of conn:nencement N, 33 1-40 W. five chains; thence South
610 W, 10 feet; thence South 33 1-40 East 5 chains; thence North
610 East 10 feet to place of beginning,

following roll call vote, to wit:

San Luis Obispo, State of California, do hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution No, 1021 is a true, full and correct copy of said resolution passed
and adopted by the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande, at a regular
meeting of said Council held on the 13th day of FebnJary, 1973,
