RESOLUTION NO. 1015
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE ACCEPTING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE SAN
LUIS OBISPO COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS' RESOLUTION
NO. 71-498 REGARDING ENTERING INTO COOPERATIVE PURCHASING
AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO.
WHEREAS, the County of San Luis Obispo and the City of Arroyo Grande have
the legal power to advertise for and purchase needed supplies, materials and
equipment; and
WHEREAS, Sections 6500 through 6514 of the Government Code authorize
public agencies to exercise jointly any power which such agencies have in common;
and
WHEREAS, a cooperative agreement between the County of San Luis Obispo
and the City of Arroyo Grande for the purchase of petroleum products would
result in substantial savings to the County and the City of Arroyo Grande.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE:
That the City of Arroyo Grande accept the terms and conditions of the
certain offer to enter into a cooperative purchasing agreement included in the
San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors' Resolution No. 71-498 and hereby
authorizes approval of said agreement. (
On motion of Councilman Millis, seconded by Councilman de Leon and on the
following roll call vote,. to wit:
