RESOLUTION NO. 1003
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE,
CALIFORNIA, FIXING THE AMOUNT OF MONEY NECESSARY TO BE RAISED
BY TAXATION FOR THE CURRENT FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1972,
AND FIXING TIlE RATES OF TAXES FOR SUCH FISCAL YEAR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY TIlE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AS FOLLOW"
1. The amount of money necessary to be raised by taxation upon d., :,axal>1
property within the City of Arroyo Grande, California, as revenue to carryon tV,
various departments is hereby fixed as follows:
GENERAL GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS the sum of $197,812.03
EMPLOYEE RETIREMENT the sum of $ 26,058,54
STREET LIGHTING the sum of $ 24,716.11
RECREATION the sum of $ 6.545.83
TOTAL the sum of $255,132,51
2. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that for the purpose of raising said "'TI' of

as assessed by the Assessor of the County of San Luis Obispo, State of Cali.fornia,
and equalized by the Board of Supervisors of said County.
3, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution is passed and adopted
pursuant to the provisions of an Act of the State of California entitled "An
Act to provide for the Levy and Collection of Taxes Under the Laws of the Statp
of California, Except Municipal Corporations of the First Class, and to provid"
for the Consolidation and Abolition of Certain MUnicipal Offices, and to
Provide that their Duties may be Performed by Certain Officers of the County,
and Fixing the Compensation to be Allowed for such County Officers for Servi.ccc"
to be Rendered to such llinicipal Corporations" (California Statutes 1895, page
219, and amendments thereto),
4. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall, within fifteen (h)
days after its passage, be published at least once, together with the narles of th"
Council Members voting thereon, in the Five Cities Times-Press-Recorder, a wc+kly
newspaper of general circulation published and circulated within the City ,f
Arroyo Grande,
