RESOLUTION NO. ...122...
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
PROHIBITING PARKING ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF BRANCH STREET, THE
WEST SIDE OF BRIDGE STREET, THE SOUTH SIDE OF BRIDGE STREET,
AND THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF HALCYON ROAD AND GRAND AVENUE;
ESTABLISHING BOqLEVARD STOP SIGNS ON CORNWALL AVENUE AT
BELL STREET; AND ESTABLISHING A PASSENGER LOADING ZONE ON
THE NORTHERLY SIDE OF POOLE STREET,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AS
FOLLOWS:
That hereafter the following listed no parking zones, stop signs and
passenger loading zone shall become effective Lmmediately and the Department
of Public Works is hereby authorized to provide and install sufficient signs
and/or markings to indicate the following "No Parking" zones, stop signs arid
"Passenger Loading" zone,
1. NO PARKING ZONES
A. On the south side of Branch Street beginning at the west line
of Bridge Street and extending thirty feet westerly,
B, On the south side of Branch Street beginning two hundred feet
westerly of the west line of Bridge Street and extending fifty
fee t wes ter ly ,
C. On the west side of Bridge Street between the exit from the
parking lot and the Bridge Street bridge.
D, On the east side of Halcyon Road beginning at the northerly
property line of Grand Avenue and extending twenty-seven feet
northerly,
2, BOULEVARD STOP SIGNS
A. On Cornwall Avenue at the northeast and southwest corners
so as to stop all traffic traveling east and west on
Cornwall Avenue upon entering Bell Street,
3, PASSENGER LOADING ZONE
A, On the northerly side of Poole Street beginning one hundred and
thirty feet from the easterly property line of Bridge Street
and extending forty-eight feet easterly.
On motion of Councilman Wood, seconded by Councilman de Leon and on
the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Millis, Talley, Wood, de Leon and Mayor Schlegel
