RESOLUTION NO. 980
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE DESIGNATING USE OF 1971-72
AND 1972-73 TOPICS ALLOCATION.
WHEREAS, the State of California Department of Public Works (hereinafter
called "Stater, has advised that the City of Arroyo Grande (hereinafter called
"City") has been apportioned $5,521 of Federal TOPICS funds for fiscal year
1971-1972 and $5,521 for 1972-73.
WHEREAS, regulations for the use of said TOPICS funds. require City to
advise State of their specific intentions in regard to expenditure of such
funds; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande has indicated
its desire to participate in the TOPICS Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Arroyo Grande, as follows:
That the City intends to accumulate the remaining portion of its
1971-72 apportionment and to accumulate the 1972-73 apportionment to finance
a more substantial program.
On motion of Councilman Talley: seconded by Councilman Wood and
on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Millis, Talley, Wood, de Leon and Mayor Schlegel
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 25th day of April, 1972.

of San Luis Obispo, State of California, do hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution No. 980 is a true, full and correct copy of said resolution
passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande at a
regular meeting of said Council held on the 25th day of April, 1972.
