RESOLUTION NO. 970
A RESOLUTION OF THE OiTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE RESTRICTING PARKING AND
PROHIBITING PARKING ON A PORTION OF LINDA DRIVE
WHEREAS, t:he City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande is, by
ordinance, permitted to.establish Restricted Parking on City Streets, arid
, ,
,
WHEREAS, it appears necessarf and ,desirable to restrict parking on
a portion of Linda Drive at the loeation described below,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Arroyo Grande, as follows:
NO PARKING be permitted on the northerly side of Linda Drive
beginning at the intersection of the easterly extension of the
northerly property line of Block 3 Tract 161 with the easterly
curb line of Linda Drive and extending 124 feet southerly.
NO PARKING between the hours of 8:00 A,M. and 4:00 P.M. Monday
through Friday, bus loading excepted, be permitted on the
northerly side of Linda Drive beginning 124 feet southerly and
easterly of the easterly extension of the northerly property
line of Block 3 Tract 161 with the easterly curb line of Linda
Drive and extending 171 feet easterly,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of
Arroyo Grande be, and he is herewith ordered to install all necessary
signs along said portion of Linda Drive to indicate the restricted area
as above set forth,
On motion of Councilman Talley, seconded by Councilman Wood, and
on the following roll call vote, to wit: ~~
AYES: Council Members Schlegel, Thompson, Wood, Talley and
Mayor Levine
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted this 25th day of January,
