R 0969 ---- ------ -- ,- - .~ , RESOLUTION NO. 969 - "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE, CALIFQRNIA, AUTHORIZING CERTAIN OF ITS MEMBERS TO FILE A WRITTEN ARGUMENT FOR A CITY MEASURE ~'.. a regular general municipal election is to be held in the City of Arroyo Grande on April 11, 1972,atwhich there will be submitted to the qualified electors of said City the following City measure: Should Ordinance No. 56 C.S. relating to rezoning of certain property along the Easterly portion of the City of Arroyo Grande adjacent to Greenwood Manor from R-A-B-3 to R-l be approved. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande, California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER, as follows: SECTION 1. That this City Council, being the legislative body of the City of Arroyo Grande, hereby authorizes Councilman Calvin Schlegel, Councilman Donald Talley and Mayor Kenneth Levine, members of said body, to file a written argument for the City measure set forth in the recitals hereof in accordance with Article 4, Chapter 3, Division 4 of the Elections Code of the State of California and to change said argument until and including the date fixed by the City Clerk after which no arguments for or against said City measure may be submitted to her. On motion of Councilman Talley, seconded by Councilman Schlegel, and on the following roll call vote, to wit: AYES: Council Members Schlegel, Thompson, Wood, Talley and Mayor Levine NOES: None ABSENT: None the foregoing resolut~on was passed and adopted this 25th day of January, 1972.
