RESOLUTION NO. 966 . "-

RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING "SET BACK" - "PLAN LINES"
(AMENDED PLAN LINE - CHERRY AVENUE)
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 158 of the City of Arroyo Grande permits the
City Council to establish by Resolution "set back" or "plan lines" within
the City of Arroyo Grande to desigrtate the minimum distance back from street
lines for the erection of buildings, walls, fences or structures along both
sides of such streets; and
WHEREAS, said ordinance requires such "set back" or "plan lines" to
be delineated"on precise maps of such streets or portions thereof for which
"such lines are adopted; and
, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande has determined
that "\et back" or "plan lines" lines must be established covering and
affecting the hereinafter referred to streets, or portions thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Atroyo Grande that the "set back" or "plan line" lines shown on the Map
attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" and entitled "Amended Plan Line -
Cherry Avenue" is herewith designated and established as the official map
of "set back" and "plan line" lines for the streets shown thereon and it
shall be unlawful for any building, wall, fence or other structure to be
erected or constructed, or caused to be erected or constructed, and no
person shall erect or construct or begin or engage in the construction or
erection of any building, wall, fence or other structure within the space
between any "set back" or "plan line" shown on said map and the line of
the street in front of the property.
On motion of Councilman Talley, seconded by Councilman Schlegel and
on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Schlegel, Talley and Mayor Levine
NOES: Council Members Thompson and Wood
ABSENT: None
the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted this 25th day of Januar:t, 1972.

County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, do hereby certify that
the'-foregoing Resolution No. 966 is a true, full and correct copy of
said resolution passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
