RESOLUTION Ne, 965
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE ORDERING THE SALE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FOLLOWING
PUBLIC HEARING (Government Code Section 37420 et seq)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande has,
pursuant to its resolution of intention, held a public hearing on January 11,
1972, at 8:00 p,m. for purposes of allowing protests to the sale of the
hereinafter described property, and
WHEREAS, at the time and place for protests no protests were
received, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 37425 the City
Council may proceed with the sale of said property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that pursuant to said resolution
of intention the Ci~ Council orders said property sold and authorizes the
Mayor and City Clerk to execute a deed to the hereinafter described property
to the highest bidder,
Said property is described as follows:
Parcell: That portion of Lot 1 in Block 2 of Tract No. 46,
as per map recorded in Book 5 page 64 of Maps in the office of
the County Recorder of San Luis Obispo County, California,
together with that portion of 18th Street, as shown on the map
of the Town of Grover, filed in Book "A" page 6 of Maps, in the
office of the County Recorder of said county, all in the City of
Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California,
described as follows:
BEGINNING at the most Southerly corner of land designated as
Parcel No, 9 in the Final Order of Condemnation, entered in San
Luis Obispo County Sup~rior Court Case No, 20701, a certified
copy of which was recorded January 11, 1955 in Book 786 page 429
of Official Records, in the office of the County Recorder of said
County; thence North 3. 15' 30" East along the Northerly prolonga-
tion of the Westerly line of said Tract No, 46 a distance of 65.87
feet; thence South 53. 50' 51" East 64,62 feet to the beginning of
a tangent curve concave Southwesterly having a radius of 37,00
feet; thence Southeasterly and Southerly along said curve through
a central angle of 67. 40' 03" an arc distance of 43.70 feet;
thence South 13. 49' 12" West tangent to said last mentioned
curve a distance of 3.04 feet to the-beginning of a tangent curve
concave Westerly having a radius of 660.00 feet; thence Southerly
along said curve through a central angle of 9. 27' 33" an arc
distance of 108,96 feet; thence North 66. 43' 15" West 43,93 feet
to a point in the Westerly line of said Tract No, 46; thence North
3. 15 t 30" East along said Westerly line of Tract No, 46 a
distance of 100,00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
Parcel 2: That portion of Lot 1 in Block 2 of Tract No, 46, as
per map recorded in Book 5 page 64 of Maps in the office of the
County Recorder of San Luis Obispo County, California, together
with that portion of 18th Street, as shown on the map of the
Town of Grover, filed in Book "A" page 6 of Maps, in the office
of the County Recorder of said county, all in the City of Arroyo
Grande, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, described
as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the Westerly line of said Tract No. 46,
said point being distant South 3. 15' 30" West 100.00 feet from
the most Southerly corner of land designated as Parcel 9 in the
Final Order of Condemnation, entered in San Luis Obispo County
Superior Court Case No, 20701, a certified copy of which was
recorded January 11, 1955 in Boo~ 786 page 429 of Official Records,
in the office of the County Recorder of said County; thence South
3.:',15' 30" West along said Westerly line 106,97 feet; thence North
300 04' 48" East 22.51 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve
concave Northwesterly having a radius of 660,00 feet; thence
Northeasterly along said curve through a central angle of 6. 48' 03"
an arc distance of 78.34 feet; thence North 66. 43' 15" West 43.93
feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
