RESOLUTION NO, -22Q..
RESOLUTION OF PUBLIC INTEREST AND CONVENIENCE AND INTENTION
OF SALE OF REAL PROPERTY AS PROVIDED UNDER PROVISIONS OF
THE GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 37420
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande finds that
public interest and convenience requires the sale of certain real property
presently owned by the City of Arroyo Grande; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande intends to
sell said real property and has determined that said property has a minimum
value of $500.00,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the time and place for hearing
protests of the sale of said property be fixed as follows: Arroyo Grande
City Council Chambers, 8 o'clock p,m" January 11, 1972, and that
immediately following said public hearing, if the property is ordered sold,
final action will be taken by accepting offers to buy said property, and
the minimum offer that the City Council will accept is hereby set at $500.00,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk publish this resolution
at least once in the Five Cities Times-press-Recorder not less than five (5)
days prior to said hearing and that three copies of this resolution be
conspicuously posted on the hereinafter described property at least ten (10)
days prior to said hearing date, Said property is described as follows:
Parcell: That portion of Lot 1 in Block 2 of Tract No. 46,
as per map recorded in Book 5 page 64 of Maps in the office of
the County Recorder of San Luis Obispo County, California,
together with that portion of 18th Street, as shown on the map
of the Town of Grover, filed in Book "A" page 6 of Maps, in the
office of the County Recorder of said county, all in the City of
Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California,
described as follows:
BEGINNING at the most Southerly corner of land designated as
Parcel No, 9 in the Final Order of Condemnation, entered in San
Luis Obispo County Superior Court Case No, 20701, a certified
copy of which was recorded January 11, 1955 in Book 786 page 429
of Official Records, in the office of the County Recorder of

curve a distance of 3,04 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve

to a point in the Westerly line of said Tract No, 46; thence North
30 IS' 30" East along said Westerly line of Tract No, 46 a
distance of 100,00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING,

the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted this 28th day of December,
