R 0910 RESOLUTION NO. 910 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE, CALIFORNIA, RELA- TIVE TO PROGRAMS FOR THE ANNUAL MEETING OF THE LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CITIES. WHEREAS, approximately one half the cities in the League of California Cities are under 20,000 population; and WHEREAS, the problems of small cities are different from the problems ot large metropolitan areas; and WHEREAS, the programs and discussions in the annual meeting of the League of California Cities have been dominated by the problems of large metro- politan areas. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande, that the League of California Cities develop dual programs and dis- cussion groups in all future annual meetings, one group for the large cities and one group for the small cities, thereby enabling the representatives of the smaller cities to gain a greater benefit from the League's annual meeting. On motion of Councilwoman Thompson, seconded by Councilman Talley, and on the following roll call vote, to wit: AYES: Council Members Thompson, Wood, Talley and Mayor Levine. NOES: None.
