RESOLUTION NO 0 884_
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE RESTRICTING PARKING ON A
PORTION OF WEST CHERRY AVENUE 0
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande is,
by ordinance, permitted to establish Restricted Parking on City
Streets, and
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to restrict parking
on a portion of West Cherry Avenue at the location described below.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Arroyo Grande, that no parking between the hours of 8:00 AoM. and
4:00 P.M. Monday through Friday, bus loading excepted, be permitteg
on the southeasterly side of West Cherry Avenue between the wester~
end of Cherry Avenue and the southwesterly line of Orchard Avenue. ..
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of
Arroyo Grande be, and he is herewith ordered to install all necessary
signs along said portion of West Cherry Avenue to indicate the
restricted area as above set forth.
On motion of Councilman Talley, seconded by Councilman Schlegel
and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Schlegel, Thompson, Wood, Talley
and Mayor Levine
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted this 14th day
of July, 1970.
