RESOLUTION NO. 8S7i
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE READOPTING THE PARKS AND RECREATION
ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo
Grande has prepared a general plan report together with a general
plan map and has readopted the Parks and Recreation Element of
the General Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did review the Parks and
Recreation Element of the General Plan report on February 10, 1970,
and did find the plan to be valid as adopted by the City Council on
October 25, 1966 by Resolution No. 722.
NOW, THEREFORE , THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande
does hereby find and determine that the public interest, convenience
and necessity require that the Parks and Recreation Element of the
General Plan report and map be readopted.
Section 2. The City Council does hereby readopt the Parks
and Recreation Element of the General Plan together with the maps
and descriptive material.
On motion of Councilman Talley , seconded by Councilman
Wood and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Schlegel, Levine, Wood, Talley and
Mayor Thompson
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted this 10th day of
February, 1970.

Grande, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, do hereby
certify that the foregoing Resolution No. 857 is a true, full and

Council held on the 10th day of February, 1970.
